Veterans Property Tax Exemption Seminar — October 24th

Post 58 is hosting a free seminar on Arizona veteran property tax exemptions with the Maricopa County Assessor's Office. Veterans with a 100% service-connected disability or TDIU rating may qualify for a full property tax exemption on their primary residence. Those with partial ratings receive a prorated exemption based on the $4,188 base amount. Surviving spouses may also be eligible. Post 58's Weedo Named State Legionnaire of the Year

Post Commander John Weedo was named Department Legionnaire of the Year at the 102nd Arizona Department Convention in Mesa. Post 58 also earned Color Guard of the Year, its fifth consecutive 100% membership award, and individual honors for Rodger Shuttleworth, John Schwab, and Chuck Christoph.
